Asante Samuel and Lance Briggs couldn't get long-term deals from their teams before the deadline. Adam Schefter says not to expect either franchise player in camp... What do you think?

Samuel just signed a 1yr deal. The Patriots and Samuel will be working on this all season. He still doesn't have a long term contract. On another note...think my beloved Cowboys will get out of the first round this year? lkrschic77 |
I sometimes wonder if those long term deals are part of a lot of the salary problems in pro sports.
