Just like Kevin McHale gave his friend Danny Ainge the "Buddy Discount," I believe Parcells will give the same treatment to his old boss, (and friend.) Think about it, The Dolphins have the #1 pick and could call trading down a "move for the future," or "rebuilding." Don't be suprised if Miami trades for one of the two first round draft picks that the Cowboys have. Also, don't be suprised if Miami doesn't get much in return, such as Julius Jones, or Terry Glenn, someone who is not equal value for the pick. Darren McFadden, Chris Long, or Glen Dorsey might have the star on their helmet next year, but that doesn't mean they should be there...by the way, what kind of name is Danny for a man anyway?

Super Bust

As an Eagles fan, one can only hope that the Giants will lose the Superbowl and take a huge dive next year like so many of the Superbowl losers of the past few years. I think it is horrible that for the second year a bad quarterback, ie: Eli Manning, Rex Grossman, is in the Superbowl. Defense wins championships, unless you are Tom Brady. This games looks to shape up like another blow out...so get your popcorn ready.
Pats/Colts...the Mavericks of the NFL
Monday, November 5, 2007, 09:42 AM PST [General]
Do you remember the last NBA season when the Dallas Mavericks rolled through everyone, and we all thought that they would win the championship without a problem? Heck, even Steve Hartman suggested that there shouldn't have been a playoffs and just give the Mavs the trophy. Why do I get the feeling the same thing is going to happen this year in football? Look, the Colts and Pats have been steam rolling all opponents, besides eachother, and they will probably continue this the rest of the season. We see the experts and hear the pundits proclaim one of these two teams champions, but I think neither one will be. Maybe they cancel eachother out and some other team that is playing well and is healthy takes the trophy away. Of course, I don't see any team in the NFL that rivals the Spurs in the NBA...and don't even think about the Cowboys.
