    NBA Hall of Fame

Friday, April 11, 2008, 02:55 PM PST [Basketball]

The NBA should have their own Hall of Fame. If not that than a Professional Basketball Halle of Fame should be created. I don't like the idea of college and pro inductees mixed together in one hall. If I were starting a Hall here are the first players and coaches I'd put in it. Of course Jordan, Shaq, Bird and Magic belong in the Hall but I'm going by senority first.

Players:  Kareem Abul-Jabbar, George Mikan, Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, Bob Cousy, Jerry West, Bill Russell.

Coaches: Red Auerbach, Chuck Daly, Phil Jackson, Lenny Wilkins.

    Lakers Won But.......

Wednesday, March 19, 2008, 10:01 AM PST [Basketball]

"It's a big win for us," Bryant said. "We had to stop the bleeding. We got a big lead, but it wasn't the way we wanted to close out the game. But we got the win."  Winning is great but its how you win the game that tells how great your team is performing. The Lakers were up 25 points with just under 7 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. The Mavs started attacking the Lakers in their weakiest area. The front line. Of course the defense let up and the Lakers had no answer for the Mavs sudden burst of enegry. An energy that they kept for the rest of the game. No this was not a big win in the sense that the Lakers played outstanding basketball throughout the game. The win was big because it but the Lakers back on top of the Western Conference.  This team has made it a habit to LET UP on defense in the 3rd quarter. A trend that can not continue if they want to win a title. This is not a big win but the great escape. They were lucky to have won this game. Next time they may not be so lucky. Winning by luck is not something I wish to see every game. Great team defense and offensive is want I expect to see when I watch a game.

Too Much Negativity Against KLAC Personalities

Tuesday, March 4, 2008, 04:13 PM PST [General]

Is everyone angry? I hate Petros, 570 lineup, Loose Cannons, etc. There's a lot of hate on the boards. Which makes me wonder, why are so many people listening to KLAC if they hate the personalities? I don't agree with everything the personalities say but I certainly don't want talk about their wives, children, weight, personal hygiene, etc. I listen to KLAC because I like the personalities and their conversations about sports. If I didn't like them I wouldn't listen nor would I join a message board started by them.  What started out as a joke has slowly turned into personal attacks. It's okay to complain but lets complain more about our teams and less about the KLAC personalities.

I think DeMarcus may get 12 if we can get some penetration or at least a stalemate with Jay Ratliff now filling in for Ferguson.

If not, 8 definitely seems realistic due to his speed and technique.
