    Selfish

    Selfish

    I have loved false

    Lured by my pulse

    Its quickened pace

    I let that replace logic

    The object of my affection

    Was actually the rejection

To finally be free of the person

    The plot worsens

    I chose victims not friends

Looking for the end while entwined in the sheets

But as "more" and "eye" meet

    I seek an honest religion

    Oblivion

    The of ME

Where the deity, not ever perfect

    Is still worth the worship

Since his gifts are well known

I do after all treat me good

    As I should

    Cause I'm worth it

Birthed from the hips that started all creation

    The equation seeks balance

    And I am that challenge

To chaos theory, metaphysics, Deuteronomy and Numbers

Meaning that I am the Alpha the Omega, from a long line of Kings

My names in the Bible, speak it, and see all the joy that it Brings

Everyday the opportunity exists for my extinction

I'm a one of a kind original, everything I do deserves distinction

That I chose those lovers, shouldn't they be so grateful

Call it the "Brass Rule" the better you do, the more they hate you

I've made do with people who weren't worth the time or price

See we can't be we, cause you don't suffice

It's never me, God don't make mistakes, I'll live through death

The first the last, the beginning the end, a completely perfect self.

In Response to Mr. King (Ps. Look up Kevin King)

    To Kevin King...

To respond to your take on the state of the world:

    "Absurd flow my man

    Sick with the grammar"

Recognize that the hammer of truth

    Falls softly on deaf ears

    Repairing the system's

Got a better chance of wishing on a star

Not when electric cars get snuffed out

So Big Oil can't be bought out

    Of existence

    Persisting with negligence

Most straddle both side of the fence

    So that the only honesty

Is that they are honestly lying to our faces

    Both races

Only color that counts is green

And we as a country burn an obscene amount

While the debt grows to proportions to high to count

We confuse inner city kids, and poor country boys

    Into fighting for their country

And when these broken toys, come home hungry

We don't want to play with them no more

Shown no more love than those nations we take over

The real rape over is what's being done to our minds

Can't find a hiding place, so most resort to going numb

    A whole generation, growing dumb

While weak old men wield an ancient power

Like dowager princesses, they've amassed it for eons

While we the loyal peons, believe one day, "we shall overcome"

Meanwhile we're overrun with poverty, aids, and inflation

Now a dollar aint worth a dollar, but the rich still get richer

The sick still get sicker, and we poets bitch, because words are much quicker

    Than actually choosing a side

And I aint saying stand behind, one party or the next

I'm just advocating respect, for those who choose a side to fight for

Even if it means, I'm only paying a tithe to the right whore

    If I'm gonna get screwed...

    For my money's worth...

I better have a say in what the chick looks like!

    Peace.
