One way you know you're getting old?

Slang passes you by...

In response to a post from me, a young-en told me "You've got too much hat".

Too much hat? I had to mull this over. The subtilities of this generation escape me.

What is too much hat? A room full of hats? A really big hat? WTF is too much hat?

Then one day early this week, I'm waiting to board the metro-link at Union Station.

Up the ramp comes a guy with 3, COUNT em, 3 HATS!. I stared in dis-belief, and fumbled for

my camera phone. Hoping he wouldn't dart off, and leave me with a bigfoot/ufo pic.

He stopped. He took off two hats, apparently to cool his head...I waited, still, and silent.

He looked around, then donned his regal head apparel, preening in all his glory! I got a

Time-Life worthy shot. Too much hat...I get it.

It's nearly 9am, not a Board Nazi in sight. A daring mid-night offensive disrupted their network and sent them into retreat. Last minute PR attempts, such as a name change to "Cool Kids" and a more open posting-tolerance policy were thinly veiled attempts to fool the posting populace.

One of the general rules of Board Nazi-ism, is that their posts are better than yours. This stems from the known fact that they were here first, and automatically are journalisticly superior.

Board Nazi: Why won't the hosts read our magnificent sporting thoughts LIVE on air? I know they are valid, I just heard them all on ESPN last night. This befuddles me?

Well even now the murmurs grow, and the populace tires of board nazi-ism. Soon they will be over thrown and freedom to post and scroll will be excerised by all.

Just a few of my favorite things. 

The Lakers Beat Seattle for their 3rd straight win...w/out Pau and Drew, they are a force to be reckoned with!   Purple and Gold  v Green in June..Everything is as it should be.

Allied scouts catch board Nazi's recreating:

The skirmishes carried on, well into the night. The Board Nazi's would launch an offensive, and I would counter. Boomer would go in stealthy, like a double agnet and try to create chaos, but the Allied forces countered with a double agent of their own, handily defeating the easily confused Boomer, and his sidekick C5P0.

His sidekick countered with a private attack:

"Go to bed fag and you better pray I don't get a hold of your fuckindumbass. CUz I'll fuck you up good. Just give a call anytime anywhere muthafucker. I'll make you my little bitch. I'm gonna bring my camera so I can film me beating your ass down in the street. Run and hide muthafucker ... run and hide."

This is known as making TERRORIST THREATS, and the info and source have been turned over to the proper 3 letter authorities...good luck with that!!!

He didn't even leave his number...how could I have called?  I've been known to chicken choke 3 just like him daily..
