    Dear Jim:

Have been listening for 18 years. Love the show. Gentle programming request: go easy on the horse racing banter. No one cares. Sorry.

    Dallas McPherson for Matt Kemp!!!

The Dodgers are in need of some power and have a void at 3rd base. They would benefit from an aquisition for McPherson. A perfect candidate for McPherson would be Matt Kemp. Kemp doesn't get along with all of his teammates and the Dodgers have too many OF's. Also, the Marlins are shopping for a CF. Are the Dodgers really going to wait for more players to develop? They can trade LaRoche for a SP and use DeWitt as a backup. They can drop Sweeney and use Nomar as a pinch hitter.

    Sell it!

    Dear Jim,

I just wanted to say that I had a blast in my first jungle appearance last wednesday, despite the fact that you ran me after the 2nd paragraph of my take. Oh well, I'll tighten things up and get racked next time.

It was real cool being on the grandest stage of them all; thanks again dude! The rest of my take was very negative but oozing with the truth: I felt that this last NBA championship was of an honorary nature to Kevin Garnett compliments of David Stern.

Also, I wanted to tell all of those speech impediment ridden cheating chowds that their walks in the POCK and driving of their CAHS is disgusting. Learn how to talk people, thats not an accent, its a freaking disease.

In any event, I'll be back to run some more smack and next time I guarantee you that I'll get racked. I am sure a shorter harder hitting take will do just fine. I am already preparing for the smack off so be ready clones, I've got a freaking Venn diagram in my head constantly looking for and thinking of bright, funny, takes of a compare/contrast nature to run.

To compare Paul Pierce "My knee hurts...wait a minute, it does not" event to a game 7 Willis Reed moment that IS one of the most inspirng stories in NBA history is an insult to the story itself, an Insult to Reed and a sign of how trigger happy some mouths in the media can be. As Pierce was walking back to the court I said to myself "I hope nobody comes out and cry "Reed". And ther goes Mark Jackson and drops it on us first.

For the information of all who think this will be a great Finals moment, this is not even close to Micheal playing with Flu against the Jazz or Isaiah Thmas laying on one leg against the Lakers, not even close to Kobe playing with a bad back against Utah.
