    Hey Joe,

I wanted to get a podcast of your show on 6/27, the 3rd hour, the segment on kicking people out of LA, but it's no longer on the site. Can you guys tell me if I can somehow still access it through other means?

Joe - Shaq is the one who fanned the flames of resentment with Kobe and refused to allow Kobe's talent to be recognized while he was a Laker. Why? Because Shaq is incredibly self centered and wanted to dominate the L.A. media market - this latest act.....last weeks rap video is just the latest example of him trying to make everything about him and is a classic case of ego centrism. What a poor teammate and role model he must have been to Bryant - the 17 year old phenom when he first came in the league. And this is nothing new because Shaq has always been able to pull this off, grandstand that is, basically because he was and is so charming and loved by the press. And this love has created an unholy alliance or effectively created an unfair advantage for Shaq re how the Shaq Kobe issue is and has been covered. The truth is - Kobe shared the ball with Shaq but Shaq would never share the glory with Bryant. Fact - Bryant should have received at least one finals MVP award...but no.... not for the kid because Shaq would never do for Kobe what he had to do with Wade to win a championship. And by the way it was Shagreed who tried to trade Kobe - not the other way around. And it wasn't ever Kobe's fault that Shaq wanted 30M a year and that Buss realized correctly that trading Shaq when he did would reap greater benefits for the franchise in the long run. This wasn't Kobe's fault but merely a fact. What is also a fact is that Bryant would never have been allowed to show his stuff with Shaq around - to be featured - not even in one finals - not one - Shaq would never permit it. He is that selfish. And there's no way Shaq's getting a divorce because of something Kobe said four years ago true or not. It's just another example of how far he'd go to try and ruin Bryants chances for success or to make him miserable as he tries to make a name for himself. Because in Shaq' s mind - he's still a kid - In Shaq's mind success for Kobe means failure for Shaq - that's how he thinks - that's why he's saying the things he says on stage. It's just so outrageous that this behvaior is not condemned by people as intelligent as you. By the way it certainly wasn't Kobe's fault the detectives talked to the press or that the press released their report when they did- unless it was to increase Kobe's negative ratings so Buss would have to trade him!!!!! Regardless, he was a kid, still is, who made a mistake - why is Shaq bringing that up now. Furthermore, there's no reason for any body of Shaq's supposed stature should be getting on stage to bring up issues from four years ago just after the Lakers lost in the finals and for anybody to talk about how much they are worth. Shaq's a child, unfortunately the media let's him get away with being childish and allows him to blame somebody else, always for the results of his actions. It's such a shame what Shaq has gotten away.... this behavior and that Kobe in turn is expected to be perfect because he's so talented on court and not as charming in an interview. The things that have been said about Kobe.... the press nipping and gnawing and chewing at the kid and the Lakers organization. Just a shame.

    Hey Experience,

I heard Wednesday's show and was peeved about a guy who criticized Joe Grande on the air. What pissed that guy off (I think) was that Joe referred to listeners as idiots or stupid. I met Joe in Arcadia once. I gave him a script to read. It wasn't very good, but he was kind enough to meet me. I had wanted to direct it as an indie but it never came to fruition. Joe was and is a unique individual who brings a genuine good natured personality to the show. Keep up the good work Joe and don't take insensitive hateful comments too seriously.
